LemonEdge Community: What is it? How does it work? Why should you engage with it?

What is LemonEdge Community?

We've launched LemonEdge Community:

https://support.lemonedge.com/hc/en-us/community/topics

We want a space that is dedicated to fostering valuable interactions between us, you and other users of LemonEdge. Here you can raise questions, concerns, and ideas about our product and is an opportunity for you to learn more about our product, have a say into what we build and how we build it, and to connect with the team.

We will post updates, collect feedback, share lessons, and give you an insight into upcoming changes. Get holistic access to our product managers and development, support and implementation teams.

We've aimed to create a seamless experience between Community and our customer support channels; which is why we host both on the same platform.

The Community Spaces

There are three main sections in Community so far:

  1. Developer Community

You'll use this space if you're a developer and have any questions for our development team at LemonEdge - direct any questions about our API, Cloud Services, or more here. The entire development team will have visibility into your question and you'll get seamless access to our combined expertise.

   2. Feature Requests

We want you to have a say in what we build and how we build it. If you have any ideas you want to see implemented into our product, please share here - other members of the community can upvote your idea, the team and our users can engage with you and your idea here, and we can easily pull this into our roadmap, keep you updated on our progress and you can see your idea come to life.

   3. General Discussion

A catch-all space, if you have a question on how to do something, how to use a feature or anything else (that doesn't fit into our other sections), please share here.

If you feel like we should have any more sections/spaces, let us know.

What else does Community offer you?

An Integrated Platform

We can pull your post and escalate them into support tickets - our community isn't a standalone piece; we've integrated our support, community and help centre software to give you a smooth and easy-to-use experience.

You don't need to log into Community and Support separately; we can view your profile and transition your post into a support ticket to continue the conversation there.

Built for Contributors

Community is built to be intuitive; we want the content to be fresh and valuable. When you make a post, we show you existing content and similar posts - you can easily discover solutions and see if your idea/question has been answered before. It's incredibly easy to write and format a post:

Share photos, screenshots, attachments, or code. It's easy to post and even easier to keep track of your posts and receives updates on them.

You'll get an email when someone comments on your post, if it's escalated to a support ticket and you can customise how often you receive notifications and which notifications you would like to receive.

If you notice that you're particularly interested in a section or usually engage with the same space, just follow the space to get updates of any posts made.

Stay in the know

Community isn't just a space for our users to engage with each other, but allows us to give you updates on a more frequent basis than release notes or quarterly updates. We can give you updates on smaller feature requests and on a case-by-case basis. We can also share our short-term product roadmap so you know what new features and changes are on the horizon.

Need help getting started?

Let us know if you have any ideas about how community should be structured, we hope it can supercharge your engagement with us, give both you and us insight, and act as a space for you to collaborate. All you need to get started is an account on our Support Platform: support.lemonedge.com

If you need help getting set up or have any issues posting, please reach out to us at support@lemonedge.com
